PHOTO EDIBLE IMAGES

Yes we are able to make photo edible images on your cupcakes for an additional price of $1 per cupcake.  **PLEASE NOTE:  Photographs or logos are printed images on edible sugar paper using edible ink from an ink jet printer. Images will be printed “AS IS” from the .jpeg file(s) provided by the customer. We do not have a library of graphics for customers to choose from. We are not graphic designers and do not have the computer programs/capability to change colors, writing fonts, objects, etc. on the provided .jpeg file. Colors may vary from the original picture(s) when printed from ink jet printer.

ALLERGY/SPECIAL INGREDIENT REQUESTS

Even though we are a specialty bakery that takes custom orders, we do not offer bakery items that are Gluten-Free, sugarless, dairy free, egg free or VEGAN. Sweet Themes Bakery produces bakery goods that use flour, butter, sugar, eggs, milk, peanuts and/or tree nuts and we do our best not to cross contaminate work surfaces. However, if you are concerned about any type of allergy, we strongly advise against placing an order.

ARTISTIC DISCLAIMER 

All our products are hand-made in house. Decorative finishes are done by hand and are subject to the artistic interpretation of the decorator. It is very helpful if you have pictures for inspiration so we can get an idea of what you’re envisioning.  However, we make no claims for exact duplication or replication of the work done by other artists. Per request we can coordinate the color scheme to fit your event theme. We reserve the right to take and use our own photos of your cake(s) to use for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation to you.

PAYMENT

All custom orders require payment in full to be placed on our schedule, whether your order will be picked at our retail store or prior to delivering your order. Your order is not officially placed until payment has been made in full and is non-refundable and non-transferable. Prices and quotes are set for 30 days and are subject to change as market pricing changes.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND

Please be sure you want your custom cake before paying for your order. We do not offer refunds, only In Store Credit will be given. Credit amount will depend on when the order has been cancelled prior to your pickup date. We reserve the right to cancel the order if the payment in full has not been received on time. No refunds will be given for cancelled orders, nor will payments be transferable. Each order is custom, variations in color, design and detail are to be expected and refunds will not be issued for this type of discrepancy. We reserve the right to take artistic interpretation on all orders.

TRANSPORTING YOUR ORDER

For orders that are not delivered, you are responsible for transporting your order safely to your destination. Sweet Themes Bakery is not responsible for orders once they leave our premises. Keep in mind that cakes are very fragile, and damages can happen if not handled properly, such as cracks, smudges, melted icing, etc. You will need a flat surface in your vehicle, such as the floorboard, so the cake is kept level to be safely transported. Cakes should never be placed on a seat or held in a passenger’s lap. It is best to turn on the air conditioning in the vehicle. We are not responsible for any damage occurring to the custom order during your own transport, set-up, or any time thereafter. We give instructions on how to carry, transport, and store your cake upon pick-up.  Sweet Themes Bakery is not responsible for any damage to the cake after delivery or after setup is complete. The customer is responsible for providing an appropriate environment for their order(s).

DELIVERY

Delivery is available only for orders over $100 (not including delivery fee) with minimum one-week notice if available. Our delivery area is from Downtown Seattle to North Tacoma, East to Issaquah; fee starts at $100+ and is based on delivery destination. Delivery in the Downtown Kent and Local Kent; fee starts at $35+ and is based on delivery destination. Additional Fee for Sunday and Monday Deliveries if available. PLEASE NOTE: Someone must be available to accept delivery. Food will not be left unattended. We allow 15 minutes of wait time for recipient to accept delivery.  We will call you to let you know what is going on, so please be available to answer your phone.

 In case of non-availability of recipient at the time of delivery there will be no refund. We will leave a door notice to let the recipient know that a delivery was attempted. Repeat delivery will incur additional charges if our schedule allows or recipient can pick up the order at Sweet Themes Bakery during business hours.
