Sweet & Smokey Pairing with Airways Brewing Beer & Bistro

This Saturday, January 19, 2013 Sweet Themes Bakery (317 W. Meeker) is proud to partner with Airways Brewing Beer & Bistro (320 W. Harrison). This Saturday only Airways will serve a unique food and beer pairing for lunch and dinner, featuring savory, smokey dishes from Airways Beer & Bistro alongside a sweet treat from Sweet Themes Bakery.
The chefs at Airways are serving up an appetizer of smoked salmon dip, alongside an delicious entrée of house-smoked turkey drenched in tangy, spicy and sweet BBQ sauce, served on a soft bun with a side of rich and creamy coleslaw. From Sweet Themes Bakery, enjoy their special Brooklyn Blackout Cake, featuring four layers of a wicked dark and dense chocolate cake separated by layers of fudge. Both offerings have been created to pair perfectly with one of Airways delicious dark beers, including Midnight Departure CDA for hop lovers or Chocolate Stout for those with a sweet tooth.
While the pairings will be served at Airways, visitors can wander a few doors down and check out Sweet Themes Bakery’s array of beautiful hand-decorated cakes, cookies, and pastries in beautiful downtown Kent!
