The Sweet Themes team wants to send our sweet regards to Sarahanne Nixon, a Kentridge High School graduate, who worked at Sweet Themes over the summer. Referred by a neighbor, Sarahanne was a self-starter and a quick learner with a great smile. She was also helpful and friendly with Sweet Themes customers. Chief Cookie Officer Alison Carchedi, Sweet Themes’ owner, loved that Sarahanne “put up with my funny antics” including Alison’s imitation of “Fat Albert.” Anyone else remember “hey, hey, hey…”?
Sarahanne’s last day was Fri., Aug. 3. This week she is heading off to WSU for the academic year. She isn’t just a pretty face though; she’s also a great student. Check out this blurb in the Kent Reporter about her being accepted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Thanks, Sarahanne, for your hard work, your great attitude and your wonderful smile! We’ll miss you.
